TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE NEW ENCHANTED FOREST SLEIGH RIDE. HOW LONG IS IT? IS IT WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY?

We have heard from many people that the horse drawn sleigh ride was their favorite part about the Ice Palace experience. For only $8 more/person it is totally worth it! It sells out almost every night so be sure to buy tickets online. The ride itself is about 12-14 minutes through the woods to the LaBelle Lake Resort where there is sledding (tubes included), fire pits, and free hot chocolate. You are welcome to stay there as long as you would like. You can also check out the treehouse gazebo on the grounds while you’re there! If we do not enough snow for the trail through the woods and our sled hills, we will take a different route. It is beautiful and fun to see it from another perspective. After the sleigh ride there will be free hot chocolate waiting for you in the heated white tent.

DO YOU OFFER GROUP DISCOUNTS?

We offer a 10% discount for groups of 10+. If you purchase online, the discount will automatically be applied. If you have a group larger than 25, please contact us for special pricing.

DO I HAVE TO RESERVE TICKETS ONLINE, OR CAN I PAY AT THE DOOR?

You do not have to reserve tickets online! We do accept payments at the door! We accept cash & cards! If you decide to reserve your tickets online, then you are able to bypass the purchase line and “check-in” with your tickets. We recommend reserving sleigh ride tickets online as they sell out quickly.

I PURCHASED MY TICKET ONLINE, DO I NEED TO PRINT THE TICKET CONFIRMATION?

You do not need to print the ticket confirmation. You can show us the email, we can look you up by the reservation name, or you can show us the printed tickets.

WHY CAN I ONLY BUY A COUPLE TICKETS FOR THE SLEIGH RIDE?

Our sleigh rides are limited to 15 seats per sleigh. The website only shows tickets that are still available for that sleigh. For example, if you are only able to add 1 ticket, then there is only 1 seat available.

CAN I COME TO THE ICE PALACE BEFORE MY SLEIGH RIDE TIME?

Yes! Your sleigh ride is the only scheduled activity. We welcome you at any point during our hours of operation!

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS MY SLEIGH RIDE?

We recommend getting to the Ice Palace 30 mins before your designated sleigh ride time to ensure that you don’t miss it. Missed sleigh ride times/dates are non-refundable.

DO YOU HAVE FIRE SHOWS AND CHARACTERS EVERY NIGHT?

Yes! Characters arrive 30 minutes after opening and fire shows begin at 6pm and go every 30 minutes inside the ice palace.

HOW DO I DRESS WHEN VISITING THE ICE PALACE?

We recommend dressing like you are going skiing. The warmer you are the happier you will be. Boots are a must. Also have coat, snow pants, gloves, and hat.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE AT THE ICE PALACE RIGHT NOW?

Click this link to see the 10 day weather forecast is Rigby, Idaho.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

The Ice Palace is located through the woods from LaBelle Lake at Krupp Scout Hollow. The address is different than LaBelle Lake’s. It is in-between Rigby and Rexburg, just off Exit 325. Address: 688 North 4200 East Rigby, ID 83442. As a reference, we are 20 minutes from Idaho Falls, 1 hour from Pocatello, 2 hours 30 min from Twin Falls, and 4 hours from Boise, Idaho.

IS THERE FOOD AT THE ICE PALACE?

Yes! Our food & drinks include BBQ, Corn Dogs, Nachos, Soup, and Hot Chocolate!

ARE RESTROOMS AVAILABLE ON SITE?

We have port-a-potties on site.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO WALK THROUGH THE ICE PALACE?

We get this question a lot but different groups stay for different amounts of time. If you just want to quickly walk through to see the ice, you might only be there 20 minutes (not recommended). Other groups (who dress warm) stay for an hour or two. On the weekends we have a fire show every 30 minutes you have to stay and watch as well as your favorite snowman and winter princesses who visit! There are also fire pits you can hang out around and visit in a beautiful and magical environment. To complete the experience be sure to do the horse drawn sleigh ride. This is the favorite part for many groups!

ARE YOU OPEN ON HOLIDAYS?

Since this is a family run business we really want to still be able to enjoy our favorite holiday of the year! We will be closed on Christmas Day. We will be celebrating New Years Eve on Saturday, December 30th! Don’t miss our New Years Eve Firework show at 7pm & 9pm. We will also be open on Martin Luther King Jr Day, January 15th and President’s Day, February 19th.

CAN I BRING A WHEELCHAIR OR STROLLER?

We recommend bringing a stroller with large wheels or better yet bring a sled you can pull around. You will be walking through ice and snow so it is very difficult to push anything with wheels. We have had people come in wheelchairs and have been able to do it but again it might be difficult depending on the amount of snow fall we’ve had as well as how much ice has grown in our tunnels.

DO YOU ALLOW PHOTOSHOOTS AT THE ICE PALACE?
